King's Noodle is a bustling Taiwanese restaurant tucked into a strip mall on Greenville Avenue in Richardson. This spot draws in both noodle enthusiasts and those craving a straightforward, no-frills meal that packs genuine Taiwanese flavors. The space itself is modest and functional, focusing more on efficiency than ambiance, which makes it a practical choice for a quick lunch or casual dinner rather than a long, leisurely sit-down.

The menu offers a solid lineup of Taiwanese classics, prominently featuring noodle dishes like dry beef noodles and the shrimp wonton noodle soup, along with homemade dumplings that have earned local praise for their texture and flavor. It’s the sort of place where dishes come out fresh and in good portions, supporting both solo diners and groups looking to share a variety of hearty plates. The pork chop with rice and shrimp fried rice are reliable comfort-food options that complement the noodle-centric offerings well.

King’s Noodle often fills up around typical mealtimes, especially on weekends, which tells you the turnover is steady and the kitchen moves quickly. The staff manages to keep the pace brisk without sacrificing service quality, so you won’t be stuck waiting around. If you’re after a lively lunchtime crowd or an early dinner during the week, those tend to be smoother visits.

While the interior lacks distinctive decor or atmosphere—think practical seating arrangements and minimal frills—the focus here is clearly on the food. This is a place mostly frequented by locals who know their Taiwanese noodle spots and appreciate authentic tastes without any fuss.

Who should visit:

  • Fans of authentic Taiwanese noodle dishes and homemade dumplings
  • People looking for a fast, flavorful meal in a casual setting
  • Anyone wanting solid portion sizes and straightforward, fresh-prepared food
  • Locals and workers nearby searching for efficient service at lunch or dinner

What to expect: A no-nonsense, colorful menu centered on noodles and rice dishes, decent service speed even during busy times, and a relaxed yet lively neighborhood vibe without extravagant ambiance. King’s Noodle serves up familiar favorites that feel homey and genuine, making it a dependable stop for Taiwanese comfort food in Richardson.

Place is pumping out some great dishes. The dry beef noodles are the way to go in my opinion. Oh and the homemade dumplings?! BOSS!! This quant little restaurant in packs a punch of flavor with every dish they serve.

This is the best place for noodles! My personal favorites are the dumplings and the pork and shrimp wonton soup! Absolutely delicious and honestly, the best I've ever had hands down.

Quite good although the noodles are a bit different from the usual ones (but still good)

It's been almost a decade since I last came here to eat, and it's still just as good as I remember! It was really busy when I came (Sunday lunch), but the service was fast. Clean tables opened up almost as soon as people were done eating, and we were seated in no time. I got the Fresh Shrimp and Pork Wonton Noodle Soup, Homemade Dumplings, Pork Egg Fried Rice, and a spicy beef cold dish. It was my first time getting the fried rice here, and it actually ended up being my favorite dish! Definitely give it a try if you come.

Authentic dishes with good portion size here. We ate here about 30 minutes before they closed on a Friday; no complaints from them. They quickly cooked our food and answered all our questions since this was the first time we've eaten here. Everything was freshly made. We would enjoy eating here again.

**Taiwanese street food** Where we get the fix whenever we miss home. I have been visiting this place since 2007. I particularly love their homemade dumplings and iron cook noodle and crispy pork cutlet. Drink wise, I love the traditional black tea, taste childhood!!
